I rearranged my living room, and Murph has a new spot to watch out the window. Its really cute, when he's not throwing all the cushions on the floor:
I have made some progress on this sweater too:
Thats a whole arm, part of a body, and a whole skein of yarn knit since monday. And it seems to be coming out exactly as I imagined.

When I woke up I was expecting some crisp fall weather this morning. It didn't happen. Instead, I was able to throw on some sweats and a tank top, and went for a walk down to the beach with the Murph. We caught the end of the sunrise. I will try to remember my camera next time. For now you will just have to take my word for it - it was beautiful.
To hold you over, here's a pic of Murph and Shamus...they did this all day Monday and Tuesday. Shamus is back home now, but I suspect Murph will continue the vigil while I work today.
Still no real crafting progress to report, but I picked up the drum carder I am renting last night, so hopefully I will have something to show you very soon.

My sister walked in her graduation yesterday! She actually graduated in December, and it was so crazy around here, I was remiss in shouting out how proud of her I am!! She finished her associates degree in Business while working full time and juggling a million other things...WITH HIGHEST HONORS and won a departmental award. I am INCREDIBLY PROUD!! As usual, I was remiss in taking photos at the event. On the other hand, it was really hot, and the tent was kind of dark, so they wouldnt have been the greatest pics anyway.
Instead, I present you with a couple of pictures I think she will really enjoy. Her newest baby, modeling her graduation cap for her. Since Shamus is one excitable puppy, these pictures are truly a testament to his desire for beggin' strips!
Congratulations Graduate!!

this week I have been working a lot more than crafting - evenings too.
don't worry, I haven't been lonely.
this guy is sitting under my desk, keeping my feets warm.
he was sleeping peacefully with the blanket and toys he dragged under there, but he jumped up to see what was going on when I took out my camera.

I have an amazing thing to report...I started knitting this Acer sweater for my mom officially on Friday.
Look where I am now:
I just finished the waist decreases last night, and will do the increases tonight. I am knitting this with some gorgeous dark teal peace fleece, on size 8 needles, and I can't believe how quickly it is flying along. (Thanks to Nean for modeling.)
The aerogarden is growing quickly too...we should be able to pinch some baby greens off the edges in another week or two!
The pup is growing quickly too. Check out Nean's blog and flickr for regular puppy updates and pics.
