I am happy to report that I only have two spinning projects going on right now.
The first is a long term project out of some wool I blended on my drum carder a while back, and I'm spinning, pretty exclusively at home, on my Schact Matchless wheel:
This yarn is a hodge podge of a WHOLE BUNCH of 2 or 4 or even 6 oz bumbs of fiber I purchased. I mixed them all up so that in the end I will have enough yarn to actually knit myself a sweater. A sweater that will turn out a lot more green, and a lot less purple than the fiber looks before I blended it:
The second is a project I started not that long ago. Some really lovely fiber I got from Spinner's Hill a few years ago. Only re-carded on my drum carder, as it had gotten too compressed. I had some uncombed assorted locks to mix in with it, which i made into their own batts while I was carding:
I can't wait to see how this project comes out, as there are several alternatives to decide on when I ply:
And as usual, I also have a project on deck. Its Fat Cat Knits Superwash Merino - handdyed roving. I got it at Maryland sheep and wool a few years ago. It has the best white space in it, I can't wait to see how it comes out:
