I finished my 6th Central Park Hoodie this weekend, including blocking, sewing on the buttons, and even delivering it to its new home.
Of course, I forgot to take a modeled shot. I promise it fits its new owner PERFECTLY!
In other news, I went to the Connecticut Sheep and Wool festival, and finally purchased my first nostepine (its made from Spalted Maple):
It will be living in my travel spinning bag, unless I feel like practicing some uncommon-for-me zen-like patience to wind a centerpull ball at home. I also got a new, super-sturdy spindle. Pictures of that when I get to spinning something on it.
This weekend, I also picked up the following garden items from family members:
a bunch of raspberry canes
a baby rhubarb plant
a couple of wintered over parsley plants
the makings of a potato tower (including the seed potaotes)
a bunch of pavers to extend my front walk
and not for the garden but FROM the garden - about 10 lbs of parsley (no seroiusly) for my friend's bunnies, and some freshly grown sprouts.
Obviously you will have more garden pictures coming up soon!
Also to come, since I finished that sweater, I think its about time for another Project Round-up - where i review all the projects on my needles, and decide if I am going to try to finsih or rip them - later this week.
