I finished these lovely oak grove mitts Sunday evening.
First one knit in april for a store sample), second one knit in just one evening to make a pair for actual wearing.

I finished up my danish tie shawl, and its blocking.
I'm really digging finishing up some of the projects I started a long time ago.
And still trying to work on finishing up a few more things before casting on new ones, and I think im down to only 8 or 9 WIPs.

The last couple of days I have been working on this shawl:
It is various skeins of my handspun...not my favorite skeins, just some i had lying around that seemed like the colors would work well together. I think it WILL be one of my favorite finished objects though. Because it is knitting up like a big squishy blanket. It is a traditional Danish Tie shawl. Draping over the shoulders it curves more than a usual triangle shawl to cross over your front and tie in the back at your waist, kind of like an apron. (This will be better visually understood when I get it off the needles...or model it.)
At any rate, it is like a big squishy blanket i plan to keep in my home office for colder winter days when I just need one more layer. Because technically, it will be a garment. It is eating up my smaller handspun skeins quite greedily, and at over 400 stitches right now, it takes me about 12 minutes just to knit one row. I am enjoying the process of knitting this, but definitely looking forward way more to using it later.
And I am just a little closer to finishing up more objects so I can cast on that Lopi Cardigan!!
I finished knitting my second christmas stocking tonight.
Now the twins are all ready for Santa.
(Or they will be, as soon as I duplicate stitch their names on):
I also made a Teeny Tiny Sock for a keychain sock blocker.
Its adorable, and is now adorning my purse/knitting bag.
(Yes, my purse/knitting bag is all one ensemble.)
I think I am ALMOST ready to cast on that lopi sweater i mentioned earlier. Maybe just one more project should be completed first. Stay tuned to see what I work on next. (Because right now, even I'm not sure.)
