I forgot my camera BUT...
I had it this morning to take pictures of my new FENCE!!
I love the little bit of landscaping this one corner of post and rail fence adds, while protecting my new little pear tree.
I also have to report a little bit on this weekend's adventures...We had fried clams in West Dennis. Here. The best EVER. Really. And less than $14. As an added bonus, being the off season, it was pretty quiet when we got there, and the proprietors were super-nice. I cooked too...other meals included us grilling some FANTASTIC swordfish (yes, a true seafood weekend) and baking an excellent apple gallette using the crust from this blogpost with our own filling concoction.
We walked on several beaches - nothing better than a walk on the beach in the winter - the Murph agrees, as got to come on some of the walks. We cruised around and enjoyed the autumn quiet of the outer cape. We hit a couple of christmas tree shops to gather some holiday decorations for the office. And we browsed the shoppes of downtown Falmouth, we browsed the wares of Mashpee Commons.
PLUS, I knit! A lot. Pictures of all the socks I worked on tomorrow.
