Wedding Stuff...
I was sitting here looking at my bloglines thinking, "I want to procrastinate, why doesnt somebody BLOG already?" And I realized...My sister and her fiance are on their way here...I can do a little post about all the stuff I made for their wedding...I CAN BLOG. So this post is dedicated to everyone else who is trying to procrastinate with their bloglines on this Wednesday Morning.
I made t-shirts with those inkjet iron ons for the bridal party. I ironed everyone's relation to the bride or groom on the reverse. For example, my mom's says Mother-of-the-Bride. As an added bonus, on the right sleeve of my dads, I ironed on really small: "One down..." on the left: "...two to go!" I crack myself up sometimes...and apparently I have his sense of humor, cause he chuckled too. Click on the Pic to go to flickr if you want to know more info.
My favorite of all of them is the onsie for the baby, cause its so tiny!!
I also made jen a pair of comfy pj type short pants with bride ironed on the butt. (Yes I went crazy with the iron ons - but it was SO EASY) And a box bag for her makeup or whatever (two pics, one bag). I sewed three shawls for the bridesmaids...I am sure I will be able to find a couple of pics of them in use AFTER the wedding. And lastly, Nean and I collaborated on this beaded clutch for the brides MLK (Crappy pic, awesome clutch).
