My trip to Cape Cod is over, but I took lots more pictures. I have to brag a little bit about the town I grew up in...isn't Falmouth Harbor pretty? The second picture is of the world famous "Clam Shack" overlooking the Harbor. Look hard, and you can see their tiny sign over the door (building on the left). Visit there between Memorial Day and Labor Day for the best fried clams on Cape Cod.

Since I finished Jen's sweater AND my stormy socks, I cast on two more projects. This multi red ring is a sock in Mountain Colors Barefoot yarn for my mom. It will be knit is the very popular (at least in my family) waterfall lace rib from Sensational Knitted Socks. The Blue and White ring is the beginning of a Bea Ellis Hat. I am working on the Bea Ellis Hat because I need a new hat. My most favorite hat, one I whipped up in half an hour on the sewing machine with some fleece and have been wearing for 3 or 4 years, is stretching out. It no longer looks its best, and does not respond to a good wash and dry by obligingly springing back into shape. I hope I will like this new hat almost as much!
